Philadelphia Police are investigating who is accountable for potentially cannabis-infused edibles creating their way into a college.
3 students at Martha Washington Academics Plus College in West Philadelphia ingested Rice Krispie treats that police say might have been “laced with marijuana.”
Lee Whack of the Philadelphia College District says that a 7th-grade girl brought the edibles into college, then sharing them with two of her classmates.
The girls’ teacher noticed that they had been lethargic immediately after consuming the Rice Krispie treats and reported it. One particular of the 7th graders felt sleepy immediately after consuming the treat, and the 3 girls had been taken to the Children’s Hospital Emergency Space. The 3 students are in steady situation.
According to CBS6, a supply says that the child’s mother purchased the Rice Krispie treats that “sickened” the young children.
It is unknown regardless of whether the kid knew the edibles had been cannabis-infused.
